Allow me to introduce the Institute of Radiation Medicine Research Center, which has been doing its best to play the role of pioneer of cancer diagnosis and treatment using Radiation since its foundation in 1963.

The Institute of Radiation Medicine Research Center shares the vision of "Center of Global Radiological Medicine pioneering innovative cancer treatment" with the Korea Cancer Center Hospital, the National Radiation Emergency Medical Dispatch Center, and the Medical Heavy Particle accelerator project team of the KOREA INSTITUTE OF RADIOLOGICAL & MEDICAL SCIENCES. All the research staff are making their best effort to develop leading Research for Radiological Medicine and Cancer Treatment Technology.

Our research center seeks to be closer to citizens by pursuing improved quality of live and enhanced citizens' health through advancement of radiological medical technology by focusing on research on the medical utilization of radiation and radioactive isotope based on Radiation Treatment, Nuclear Medicine, Radiological Life Science, Medical Engineering, and Bioengineering Technology.

To accomplish this, we promise to become the research organization that leads National Radiological Medical Research Projects based on our previous major research accomplishments with all our might and do our best to conquer cancer for the healthy life of our citizens.
