“A leading organization in the R&D of new drugs and development of radiopharmaceuticals using radioisotope

The Korea Radioisotope Center for Pharmaceuticals (KRICP) is the only organization in Korea for non-clinical and clinical trials using radioisotope. It specializes in pharmacokinetic analysis, bioimaging, radiopharmaceutical GMP manufacturing, and GLP safety assessment.

KRICP is established as an independent building with gross floor area of 14,446m2 inside the Korea Institute of Radiological & Medical Sciences. Together with the Research Institute of Radiological & Medical Sciences that conducts basic studies and the Korea Cancer Center Hospital that handles clinical trial and healthcare, it forms a full-cycle new drug development support system.

KRICP aims to ease the dependence of domestic new drug development companies on overseas facilities and reduce the cost and period of new drug development by supporting the process of new drug development using radioisotope. In addition, we will provide every support necessary for domestic companies to enter the global radiotherapy market, whose growth is accelerating, through R&D and clinical trial in Korea. To this end, we are securing global-standard research support systems.
